1. What is Stainless Steel Closed Flower Basket

Stainless steel closed flower basket, also known as closed-body turnbuckle / tubular rigging screw, is premium Rigging Hardware used for precise tension adjustment of wire ropes, cables and tie rods. It adopts a fully enclosed tubular body, different from open body turnbuckles. Two left-right reverse threaded screws are assembled into the closed pipe body. Rotating the central tube extends or retracts the two end screws to adjust length and cable tension. Common end configurations: jaw & jaw, eye & eye, jaw & eye.

2. Working Principle

The central closed barrel has internal opposite threads (left-hand and right-hand). When you rotate the tubular body, both end studs move inward or outward simultaneously. This changes the overall effective length and tightens / releases tension on the connected Wire Rope or stay cable. Lock nuts can be tightened after tension setting to prevent loosening under vibration. The closed pipe shell shields internal threads from contaminants.
